Résumé On ne peut pas sous estimer le rôle de Ken Khouri dans le développement de la musique populaire jamaïcaine, tant pour avoir été l'un des premiers à enregistrer du mento dans les 50's que pour avoir fondé le premier studio d'enregistrement de l'île. C'est aussi le fondateur du label Federal Records qui produira entre autres The Maytals, Bob Andy, Johnny Nash, Ken Boothe, John Holt, Marcia Griffiths, Boris Gardner & Derrick Harriott.
